December 2024
What a fantastic charter this has been! We found Mariah Princess III through our good friends at Epic Yachts and knew it was a winner form the start. Kevin, Nicole and Bea anticipated our every need, making our trip seamless and totally relaxing. We are so impressed with the attention to detail in the catamarans design, the spaciousness and absolute comfort in every area - now we are completely spoiled and can't imagine being on any other cat! Nicole's meals were all gorgeous and so delicious that we are going to have to start dieting as son as we leave. Kevin's knowledge of the BVI, especially its dive sites, is most impressive. He quickly adapted to any weather or crown challenge to find us the ideal spot every day. And Bea was so thoughtful and accommodating with refreshments, towels and anything we needed that we hardly had to think. It really could not have been a better vacation. I am the scuba diver in the family and the diving here is amazing, diverse and good. Kevin is a super instructor who really knows the dive sites. Sublime. M & B

Beautiful yacht-very clean and comfortable! Food was exceptional and outstanding. Every meal was beautifully presented, delicious and healthy. Each breakfast, snack, lunch, dinner and cocktail was an exquisite dining experience. The fact that the table setting was also a surprise for every meal elevated each meal time. Nicole's meals are Michelin quality and we were all extremely impressed! The entire crew was absolutely outstanding. We loved every moment of our trip! They were all experienced, attentive, informative, fun and entertaining! It was a fabulous experience! The weather precluded us from doing many of the things we would have liked to do but we did enjoy the tropical storm that we experienced one evening. Where do we even start? This has been a trip of a lifetime and the experience would not have been the same without you all. The patience, care and handholding made it epic. AFTER CHARTER FOLLOW UP Did you and your guests feel comfortable aboard S/Y MARIAH PRINCESS III? Yes, the boat was great, and crew made us feel comfortable the entire time Was the yacht in the condition you expected and as it was represented? Yes, yacht was as advertised and had no obvious signs of wear. I think the photos online didn’t do it justice Were the crew professional, and did they provide the level of service you would expect aboard a luxury yacht? The crew was professional and engaged with us as we got to know each other. Service was excellent Was there anything exceptional about your charter or anything the crew did that would stand out? The food was exceptional as was the personal service including cocktail hour along with plenty of drinks and snacks throughout the day. Was the itinerary what you had expected? Were there any locations or activities you enjoyed most or did not enjoy? The itinerary was perfect, particularly the more secluded areas we anchored Is there anything the yacht could add that would make for a better yacht charter experience?. Jet skis would of been fun but no room for them on the boat Would you say the food provided by your Chef met your expectations, could have been better, exceptional, or other? June Charter
Jason, Jess, Simeon, and Lucie The only way to become a true friend to the sea is to create your life to unveil it. Thank you for sharing your passion. You all have helped me reach a version of myself I didn’t know existed. Jason, a gentle soul with an eye for details, even in the midst of the storm approaching we knew we would be 100% safe. The BVI is calm, and you made the trip peaceful. Lucie, an extra special thanks for the morning Latte, beautiful heart in providing a lovely sea experience. Jess, you are going places, a scientist and a chef in one. The time, energy, and creativity you brought to each meal blow us out of the water. Speaking of water, Simeon. I may never figure out your boat name, but I will never forget your spirit, a true seaman ( person), she, he, it. Thank you for becoming my friend. Not only did we ring in the New Year with all of you, but we also celebrated a birthday in style ( It’s wonderful. It’s wonderful!”) Also, thanks for introducing our kids to life on a sailboat in the BVIs! Lots of new adventures will be fond memories going forward. And Kim! Thank you , thank you, thank you for the delicious meals ( all of them) that rival any Michelin top starred restaurants! Not to mention the special attention to the many food allergies we brought with us. Your amazing talent enabled us to satisfy the “foodie” in us safely and without incident. We love you! While the boat is special you 5 made this trip amazing. Robert chaperone and drone skills, Simeon’s soft-spoken leadership & quick wit, Kim’s beautiful heart and amazing culinary skills, Jason’s uncanny ability to fix anything and talent at getting all of us to engage with new water activities and Lucie’s precious heart, intent to learn and communicate with us in English, talented bartender and decorator for all our festivities! Dear Mariah Princess III Xmas Thank you all for an amazing birthday trip around the BVI’s! A first but hopefully not a last experience of catamaran sailing! Your hospitality, food and drink all offered with kindness and professionalism much appreciated Thank you for extra consideration for Laura, so good to know we were in safe hands at all times ( Loved the snorkeling- thank you to Simeon for your thoughtfulness making if especially safe for Laura and I with your company. Thank you Kim for all the meals which were scrumptious and catered for Maddie so well too. Thank you for Lucie, Jason and Robert for all the background, many chores especially bed making and keeping our cabins. You are so calm and professional and nothing was ever too much. Simeon, Jason, Kim, Robert, Lucie Thank you so much for making Buck's 60th birthday celebration so special. The service, and hospitality were 2nd to none. All of the meals and drinks were amazing! Thanks to the whole crew for putting up with all of the overserved late night partiers. Kyle will be sure to pay Jason for his "spot on" diagnosis of his "3 stages of Kyle" Thanks for everything, it was unforgettable trip of a lifetime. Cheers Mo and Buck, Lauren and Christina, Lexi and Ben, Jill & Kyle And to the broker: How was your overall experience? We had a great time. Did the crew live up to your expectations? Yes we really enjoyed all of them. They were very accommodating and fun! How would you describe the food and drinks? Excellent excellent excellent! A lot of food for sure. We aren’t 3 big meals a day. Everything was great and Kim and Lucy were so interesting to talk with. We still want some of the recipes from Kim! Were you involved in planning the itinerary? I think the weather pretty much determined where we could go. What did you like most about your charter? Easiness of each day, not having a plan of go, go, go. Just very relaxing. Can you give me any hints as to how I can provide my clients with an even better experience? Hmmm it was pretty perfect! Is there anything in particular you wish you had known in advance? We definitely could have packed less! I brought 3 pairs of sandals and really only needed 1!

August 6th, 2022
Kevin, Nicole, Zara, Scottie First-all killed it!! Great adventure Captain, food was over the top, just the way we like it. Zara was always ready to fill out cocktail glasses and Felix always eager to help. It was the best time a day could ever spend with his 3 daughters. Thank you for that! And to have and share this with my amazing girlfriend and two best friends, well, it just doesn’t get any better! Thanks again, and I hope for calm seas and the wind is always blowing in your direction. Roger and the Girls Wow, Wow, Wow, this trip was amazing. Our family can’t thank you enough for our wonderful trip around the BVI’s. This was our first catamaran trip and you have exceeded all expectations. Kevin- you’ve made us feel safe the entire time, and you have been the perfect tour guide. Even on an abbreviated trip, I feel like you did a perfect job of directing us to the highlights. Nicole, we have you to thank for the extra 5 lbs we are going home with! Your food has been amazing-no need for finding restaurants off the boat-your cooking was far better. And Diane, I can’t say enough to thank you for all our chats! I’ve loved getting to know you. And your bartender skills are on point! You made us feel immediately at home. It was fantastic in no small part due to your efforts, from great recommendations to planning the exceptional food. It was always top-notch. Best of luck with your next long sail and new team member, and wherever life takes you both. You are formidable hosts, and you created a fun environment well enjoyed. Thanks for all the extras, the food, and the relaxing atmosphere. Everything was top-notch! Good luck, and we hope our paths cross again. And of course, thank you for celebrating our anniversary in such an amazing way. And, of course, we didn’t mind explaining all the jokes to Kevin! Thank you all so much for an incredible week! We all had an amazing and relaxing time and are so grateful for your kindness and all of your help in planning this trip. The food, atmosphere, and activities were all incredible! This was our first boat trip. We had no idea what to expect. Needless to say, the three of you made this a trip of a lifetime. The quality that jumps out at me in your gracious and generous spirit. Each of you are warm, caring, and loving. It comes through in what you say and how you treat others. So thankful for this experience. Thank you so much for an amazing trip around the BVI’s. As our first time on a boat trip, this trip highly exceeded our expectations. Your attention to detail and selfless service was over the top. The food was Michelin Star worthy!! Wow, where to start with Mariah Princess!! We had an incredible trip. The boat itself is beautiful. The master bedroom cabin was very spacious and offered Mike and I double sinks and a walk-in closet…pretty spectacular for boat living. The other bedrooms were perfectly sized for our kids and nephew. We loved hanging out on the back of the boat. Aside from socializing around the great teak dining table, there were numerous cozy sofas and loungers back there to enjoy the sun. The boat had a fantastic flybridge area too which was a great spot to take in the views as we sailed. It also had an awesome hot tub! The tender was a fabulous boat too. But the best part about Mariah Princess was definitely the crew!!! They went above and beyond to make sure our trip was memorable. Capt Kevin made sure to communicate our plans each evening and was very approachable and informative. He was always willing to help and accommodate our desires on the trip. He even took my son out on the tender for boat driving lessons (Peyton has his boating license). His first mate, Julio, was the nicest guy! He was the first to jump up and agree to take my kid's wakeboarding, snorkeling, or tubing. He also did a hike with Mike and me in St Thomas. Simply an awesome guy! Our chef, Nicole, made dish after dish of amazing food, with a smile!! We ate so much and loved it all. She was super accommodating to my daughter too, who can be really picky. And finally, Cat….our stew. She was sincerely the best we could have asked for! She was kind, wonderful with my kids, knowledgeable, helpful, funny, and made everything about this trip better. She, along, with Julio, taught my kids how to wakeboard. Their patience and encouragement pushed my kids to success out there. It was awesome. She also did a one-hour morning yoga session for the girls one day which was out of this world. My daughter cried as we left the boat and mainly to be leaving Cat! As you can tell, we loved it! The change in boats was meant to be. If we had to make any recommendations for improvement, there aren’t many….and these suggestions are very minor. Maybe have some round noodles on board and possibly a large inflatable for more than one person to chill out on. (These are coming! note by crew)

Cheers to the Mariah Princess Team for putting together our gorgeous sailing adventure in the USVI... in less than one week! When you are ready to Sail... Go! Go! Go! .. especially during this difficult time of Covid and travel restrictions, The Mariah Princess was absolutely pristine about protocol and we joyfully and safely met the superb Mariah Crew in St. Thomas. Captain Kevin Gentles and his Crew, immediately set the tone for fun with their high spirited enthusiasm, professionalism and character! Their work ethic shining brightly anticipating our every need!!! The boat is absolutely gorgeous... even more beautiful than the photographs. What a Lady she is. I and my friends have sailed a lot in our lifetime and the Mariah did not disappoint. Captain Kevin took us on many a great sail! He and 1st Mate Nick, found the most delightful places to swim, snorkel, kayak. Nick had us hiking, paddle boarding... always watching over us to make sure we were safe and having a great time. Our Marvelous Steward; CAT.... was always there with a towel, a drink, and her very witty personality. We adored her! Her table settings were highly creative and elegant. She was highly professional and a joy to be around. Chef KATE.... fed us with the most sumptuous meals. Many of us have dietary issues, which didn't faze her one bit. We were all completely well fed and happy!! Her cheerful personality and love of cooking was gratefully appreciated. The only disappointment was the hot tub was not working. In all fairness, because I chartered her so quickly, there wasn't enough time to get it fixed. Everything else was perfection. I look forward to chartering her again and again.
