Charter Review - June 2026

When we planned this adventure, we knew it would be an amazing return to the BVI's. This place is so special. And when we "met" the two of you over Zoom from snowy Connecticut, we knew we would be in for a phenomenal sailing experience. Somehow you both checked every box and far exceeded our expectations. We could not have been more comfortable in our cabins, or stretched out in the various perches taking in the views and stars. Every meal and cocktail made it feel like a first class celebration. Every day swimming and relaxing and dancing and soaking up the sun was perfection. You made this trip, and my big birthday, so memorable! Thanks for everything!

Dear Cam and Sam,

As this was Christian & my first time to the BVIs with a group who had traveled here together before, we weren't truly sure what to expect. Somehow you managed to bisect the important lines of allowing Bradley, Andrew, Phil & Fontaine to reminisce at places visited prior and give us all completely new memories at new places with incredible experiences. Sam, your meals were spot on and we all loved them. Cam, your perfect blend of humor & control made this special. As a pair, the experience you gave us was/is truly indescribable. 

Charter Review - May 2026

This week at sea can best be described as a Vibe! Sam & Cam are so welcoming, time melted away the moment we boarded, with Cam navigating us through waters that washed away all worries, and Sam providing sustenance for soul, refreshing and celebration. So relaxing, so rhythmic, so vast. Our phones became nothing more than cameras, yet the memories will be stronger and deeper than any photo  and twice as beautiful!

Charter Review - March 2026

What a week!! Captain Cam set up the best adventures for our family — from snorkeling the Treasure Caves, to night time fish spotting, exploring Anegada and swimming with sea turtles (bucket list!!) — core family memories made (especially Gwen)! Chef Sam — we are leaving inspired, possibly 20 lbs heavier :) and have never been so well fed. Thank you both for allowing us to fully relax, experience the BVI's and be together. Best trip we have had! Cheers!

Charter Review - April 2026

Hard to describe what an amazing trip this has been. After this, vacationing any other way is always going to be a close second. The Barefoot Bliss is just that: a no shoes accommodation that leaves you in true bliss! The catamaran is the way to travel. A floating hotel that allows you to savor every scenic view at all times. The stunning beauty of the BVI is seen at every single cove, each with a unique experience to offer. Fishing, Pink Sands, swimming with turtles, clear shades of turquoise waters, flying stingrays just to name a few. One can go on and on.

But along with what the BVI has to offer is the need for a strong, fun and knowledgeable crew at the helm, and that can be found with Cam and Sam! They were the perfect team to set us up for the day and plan and prepare the best food and experience / itinerary each and every day. With Captain Cam at the center, we all felt safe and knew we were always heading towards another beautiful day of memories. With Chef Sam, we were more than well fed, no dish with anything left on it, a constant surprise of better and better plates of pure deliciousness. Thank you both again!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience aboard the Barefoot Bliss, thanks in large part to our captain, Cam. He was fun, knowledgeable, and put together an incredible itinerary that allowed us to see so much of the BVI in a short time. From the moment we stepped on board, we felt completely at ease. Cam was confident and capable, and we always felt we were in very good hands. His laid-back personality made the trip relaxing and enjoyable, while his strong focus on safety gave us total peace of mind. He also worked seamlessly with Sam, the first mate and chef. They made a great team and created such a welcoming, positive atmosphere on board. Cam was genuinely pleasant to be around and added so much to the overall experience. One of our favorite parts of each day was his morning meeting, where he shared an interesting fact and walked us through the day’s plans. It felt well-organized and helpful for us to know what was ahead for the day. We feel incredibly fortunate to have had Cam as our captain and wouldn’t hesitate to sail with him again. Highly recommend!

Sam, our first mate and chef, was truly incredible and made our trip even more special. She was so much fun to be around, an easy conversationalist who brought great energy and warmth to the entire experience. Her cooking was absolutely outstanding. Every meal was thoughtful, creative, and delicious, and she made sure there was something for everyone, including accommodating different dietary needs. We were especially impressed by how she consistently created such amazing, healthy meals out of a tiny galley kitchen, it was seriously impressive! We loved how effortlessly she brought creativity to each dish, and her recipes were so good that we’ve continued to reach out to her for some of our favorites since returning home. Honestly, we all agreed she should create a “Barefoot Bliss” recipe book! Beyond her talent in the kitchen, Sam was genuinely a joy to be around. She added so much to the overall experience, and we feel lucky to have had her on board. We highly recommend Sam, she is exceptional at what she does!

What an amazing time we had with Cam & Sam, the most wonderful crew! Such accommodating, kind hearted people. You all know your business, that’s for sure!

Cam, getting us the best spots in the best places, knows his way around down here for sure. Always putting up with a crazy family and we so appreciate you all making our family trip so wonderful and memorable.

Sam, your dishes were absolutely amazing and delicious! You are so very talented!

Barefoot Bliss is a blessed ship. It has a convenient, pleasing layout that was perfect for our family of six. And its condition was ship-shape indeed.

Capt. Cam(eron) was busy 15 hours a day planning, tweaking, and informing us. The morning briefing started us off every day with all that we needed to know. In retrospect, he developed a sailing route that hit all of the BVI’s high points we had asked for. Cam gave excellent attention to safety issues. We felt calm during his piloting in all weather conditions.

First Mate Sam(antha) was the source of a garden of delights for the table. Every meal more than satisfied our picky group’s needs and desires.

Cam and Sam worked as a seamless team, with whom we became enamored. Great fun!

Our family couldn't have asked for a more magical way to explore BVI. Rob has a gift for find the perfect spot to moor and we were lucky enough to see so many turtles & tropical fish while enjoying playing in the water. Rob’s love for being a captain is evident in the way he explains each new place, the planning he puts into choosing a location, the ease in which he maneuvers the boat: not to mention the expertise in making delicious cocktail. Ariq’s food was incredible. Each of our family of 6 had a different favorite meal, and all agree that we had the best tiramisu of our lives. Ariq and Rob took such great care of our family and have a wonderful, funny dynamic that added more joy and laughter to such an amazing experience. Thank you both so much!

Best Boat Experience Ever!! The hospitality that we were greeted with was unmatched. Ariq was the best chef, and Rob knows how to make a mean Espresso Martini. I can honestly say the crew made our trip. We all had a great time. The BVI is incredibly beautiful. We are very grateful to have had this experience and share it with this dynamic duo. Not only were they attentive to our every need, but both Rob and Ariq bring a lot of personality. It wouldn’t have been the same without them. Ask Ariq for the Caprese and the mango BBQ. They’re amazing. And make sure to ask Rob for his life story. Would love to come back.

Best Christmas Ever!!! This trip was amazing! Our family enjoyed every day. We made so many wonderful memories we will always treasure. We decided that Peter Island was our favorite stop, the snorkeling was the best! So many fish and even a spotted eagle ray. We loved going to Willy T's and jumping off the boat. We also loved Tipsy’s. Such a great bar with good drinks, great music, and the owners were so kind. Our captain, Rob, was so good and took great care of us. Our chef, Ariq, made so many delicious meals for us! 5 stars on everything he made. We cannot thank Rob and Ariq enough for such a wonderful week of fun and adventure—truly a unique trip. We hope to do it again in the future!

Trip of a Lifetime!

Thank you for making my first, not Deb’s, sailing trip in the BVI so memorable and enjoyable. The time spent and accommodations made, considering my balance issue, were so much appreciated. That was my biggest apprehension when coming on this trip. Cam, you are a pro, plain and simple. You made everyone feel extremely safe at all times, and you captained us to some of the most beautiful destinations we have ever been to. Julia, we have never had such quality meals. The presentations and ALL the meals were utterly fantastic. Thank you for making this the trip of a lifetime.!
