I cannot even begin to describe how wonderful of a time we all had on the Sail Away with Captain Connor andChef Ada. 

Each and every detail - from itinerary, meal program, drinks, cleanliness and anticipation of our every need - was perfect. We had so much fun with them. More than a crew they felt like our friends! The way they took care of us was seamless, it felt like they were reading our minds.

What stood out especially to me was the birthday party they held for my friend and I on the last night. We felt so special and celebrated and couldn’t imagine a better way to start off this next year of life! And THE CAKE!!!! Best I’ve ever had. 

Missing the Yacht and everything about this one in a million experience. Run, don’t walk, to book with this team!!!!

More Than Five Stars

If I could rate more than 5-stars on this review, I would.

My family and I had an amazing time during our charter, and it is all thanks to the crew and the wonderful, positive vibe they brought. They created such a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere that really made us feel well taken care of for the entire time we were on the boat. We laughed a ton and the crew was just as fun-loving as we were. Their anticipation for our needs was impressive; they totally surprised us with the activities and themes for dinner!

Additionally, the food was its own 5-star rating! The creativity and attention paid to each dish was truly met. We never ate the same meal twice, and our chef was able to create unique dishes that I would expect to order at a restaurant.

Lastly, the overall booking experience was seamless, and our booking agent was incredibly patient with us and the changes/ questions we kept tossing their way. They provided honest feedback on the concerns presented, and it is obvious as to why they are such professionals.

I honestly cannot say it enough – book with Connor and Ada  for your next charter experience! You will not regret it!

Five days adrift in turquoise dreams,
Where sunlight danced in silver streams,
Aboard Sail Away we laughed and swayed,
In the magic that the crew all made.

Each morning started with Connor’s grin,
Gathering us all to happily begin,
With charts, our plans, the route ahead,
And jokes that left us laughing instead.

Captain Connor at the helm so steady,
Calm and confident, always ready,
Guiding us through the islands bright,
By sapphire day and starlit night.

Chef Ada turned each meal to art,
A masterpiece from hands and heart,
And best of all, we never had to choose,
No menus, no stress, no endless reviews.

Each dish appeared, somehow more divine,
Perfectly timed with sunset and wine,
From breakfast spreads to dinners by sea,
Every bite felt like luxury.

We came to celebrate forty years,
With our friends, loud laughs, and happy tears,
A milestone marked by sea and sky,
With island sunsets drifting by.

These were the days we’ll talk about,
The kind that leave no room for doubt,
That life is best when shared this way,
With hearts wide open on Sail Away.

Together with our cherished friends,

We were spoiled rotten by the crew of Sail Away and would love to charter with that crew again.

For my friends, this opened their eyes to a new world. We had the best time, not a single complaint! The interior was clean, and I was impressed with how she showed being 12 years old.

Connor is a fantastic captain, calm, funny, and we loved his morning briefings. Truly a highlight for us every day.

Ada is an excellent chef, and my friends were blown away with every meal. We loved her portion size and that we didn’t feel like we were weighed down by food.

We just returned home from an amazing week with Connor and Ada! From the second we stepped on board, they made us feel right at home.

Their hospitality was top-notch! Connor is an amazing captain and host. We all really enjoyed every story he had to tell and we learned so much from him every day!

We had an amazing trip to the Virgin Islands thanks to the &Beyond crew. Chris, Lida, and JD are a phenomenal team who truly did go beyond our expectations. 

They were friendly, professional, and made every effort to ensure that this vacation was one for the books.

Teared Up Saying Farewell

Captain Chris was so good a navigating and communicating and giving us a few options each day. And he was so fun and lively and took the kids on sunset skiing activities. 

The boat was clean well maintained and with plenty of sport activities. 

Lida blew us away with every meal. All from fresh ingredients and never seemed stressed and was beautifully presented and sometimes did kids meals when needed. She was phenomenal and even my husband who is trained chef was throughly impressed.

JD was always helpful in every way and added the extras and was always there to make sure we were comfortable or needed anything at all and a great helper for Lida and Chris.

We also received a memorable poster which showed the sports we stopped. We will frame it.
We would love to hopefully do this again (maybe somewhere different) and I think the crew made it so worth it!
I teared up saying farewell and our daughter cried at the airport not wanting it to end.

The yacht was wonderful. It seemed to be in very good condition, was clean the entire time we were aboard, and had more room than we anticipated for relaxing, lounging, etc.

How would you describe your crew? 
The crew was awesome! They were not only very friendly but their attentiveness exceeded our expectations. Chris did a great job recommending/executing activities and excursions and JDs drinks were superb, especially the espresso martinis :)

Was the food great and well presented? Did the menus meet your expectations? Did your crew pay attention to your preference sheets?
The food was also outstanding! Lida provided a great variety and everything she made was outstanding, especially the chocolate and peanut butter birthday cake! She definitely paid attention to the preference sheets and I know everyone in the group ate very well during our trip.

How did you find the pace and the itinerary of your charter?
We all felt like the charter had a great mix of relaxation and activities. Those of us who got to scuba dive really enjoyed the dives Chris took us on.

Additional comments about the yacht and the crew?
Our charter far exceeded our expectations. We all had such a great time thanks in large part to the crew. We would definitely recommend to anyone interested in a vacation like this and we're already talking about doing it again. Especially if we can have the same crew!

Fabulous! Lida is a very talented chef and she provided us with beautiful, fresh meals
three times a day. She provided a variety of flavors, lovely presentation and paid perfect
attention to any special requests.

Were you satisfied with the cruising itinerary?_
Yes, Chris did an incredible job of presenting options and guidance each day. He
explained the pros/cons of the options as well as the logic behind the itinerary options.

Four weeks out from the trip we all feel like the trip was DREAM! Chris, JD and Lida

We sailed on The Huntress catamaran with Amazing Captain Chris, lovely Chef Lida and JD who was our butler/ bartender. They spoiled us.

The BVI islands are so beautiful by catamaran. I highly recommend sailing on The Huntress. We look forward to sailing with them again in the future.

Just Magical!

What a wonderful week. Just magical. It is hard to truly relax and just be but you all created a wonderful and safe space where we could do just that. The food, the smiles, the care, the laughter. And everything was so effortless (for us!).

On day one, in a text to my family, I let them know of our safe arrival and how we were being luxuriously spoiled. Little did I know that I was going to be pampered and cared for by the 3 of you in a fashion that I have never experienced before. 
Although the meals and attention to every need were absolutely above par, it was your genuine kindness and humane regard of each of us that made my time with the 3 of you and experience that would be impossible to duplicate.

Life Changing Trip

Wow! What a fantastic 70th birthday. Every day felt like 'THE BEST DAY EVER' Why? Because of the 3 of you and my 5 friends. The food, laughs, smiles, dancing, swimming, diving, snorkeling - a trip of a lifetime.

Incredible Week!

Sailing with you was a calculated risk for us. Our family vacations have always had the same ingredients: - a hotel, a defined activity, and as the kids insisted , a breakfast buffet. A few months ago we called a family meeting to vote about a last minute idea and opportunity. sailing in the BVI's over New Year's Eve with some curiosity, uncertainty and thirst for adventure, the family unanimously voted for a week on The Huntress.

The risk paid handsomely for our family what an incredible week we had!

Your hospitality is world class and you make it seem easy. It must be difficult to operate in tight quarters, but one would never know it from your crew. We had many, many highlights but among them were: Drones over Necker Islands, the kids first tubing, feeding the tarpon, seing four planets in our night sky, reading books while onluy under wind power, and the INCREDIBLE meals! Our girls didn't even miss the breakfast buffets - high praise indeed!

The best ship is the one with the people having the most fun,and so The Huntress is the finest vessel in the ocean.

What A Week!

What a week! It's rare to meet two people 6 days ago that were strangers but to only feel like family now. You are greatly loved and appreciated.

Incredible

Thanks so much for an incredible, memorable and adventurous family trip. After a long two plus years away, this week was a fantastic time to reconnect recharg, have a good time and marvel at the beautiful blue skies, sea and wildlife.

The cruise was really top-notch: the boat was very well maintained, spotless.
Chris and Lida are lovely, very professional, very keen to do well and make sure everyone has a good time. We will be delighted to see them again when we return to the region!

The Best Sailors and Hosts

Our family had the trip of a lifetime on Sip Sip. We arrived by dingy to rum punches on the stern, served with a smile by Lida. Our luggage was immediately whisked away. Captain Chris took us all on a tour of the boat. The boat has a sleek and modern vibe that makes it feel like a floating, spa oasis. We slept in a queen cabin and it was the most comfortable charter bed I’ve ever slept on. The bathrooms are enormous and there is plenty of storage for a weeks worth of clothes and necessities. 

Lida served up a gourmet breakfast every morning and incredible dinners each evening. Most of our lunches were spent at beach restaurants on the different islands. We had some complicated food requests on this trip and Lida made sure that my husband had the correct food for each meal and made them delicious.

Chris and Lida are expert sailors, hosts and staff (staff wrong word?). They made the vacation by offering suggestions as to locations to stop and explore and providing us with the space we needed to relax when under sail. The boat itself has many areas to spread out and read, sunbathe, or even work ( if you have to!). 

The highlight for the parents and the kids were the “toys” on board. Each day we would find a place to snorkel, Sea Scooter, paddle board and dingy. We know from experience that some yacht charters charge extra for these perks but they are included on Sip Sip which is fantastic. 

The BVI’s are the best family vacation destination and when you explore it on Sip Sip you’re going to make memories for a lifetime!

Best Family Vacation

We had high hopes that this trip would be a great experience - and honestly the trip exceeded anything we could have imagined. 
The boat was immaculate and very comfortable, and the crew quickly felt like dear friends (shout out to Chris and Lida - twenty somethings from S. Africa who were fun and energetic - providing some of the best meals we've ever had, were engaging and so attentive to whatever we wanted to try and do, and took us to many great locations throughout the Virgin Islands). With kids from 18 to 25 - we did plenty of water sports, from tubing and wake boarding - to riding on Sea Bobs and Efoils - and were having so much fun we even booked an extra night while on board - truly the best family vacation we've ever taken.

Went Out of Their Way!

From the very beginning Chris and Lida were superb hosts to our family on our anniversary trip. Chris was attentive to our input on where we wanted to go in the BVIs and also made suggestions that were special and not stops we had otherwise considered. Lida was amazing in her delivery of three extraordinary and different meals every day along with beautiful tasty appetizers each late afternoon before amazing dinners. 

We had a birthday while on board and Chris and Lida went out of their way to make that day special complete with a freshly baked birthday cake, birthday banners and music and an amazing sea bass dinner. Have already talked up the trip with a number of landlubbers back home.

Loved Every Minute Of Our Time

We enjoyed every minute of our time – so much so that none of us could pick a favorite memory. 

From the wild times at Willy T’s, to the crystal blue waters at Soggy Dollar, peaceful morning hikes, swimming with the sea turtles – all of it was amazing. 

Olivia – your food is incredible. Fresh, vibrant, and yet still filling. Your flavor combinations have left us inspired for our own home cooking.

Hey guys! Thanks so much for an amazing sailing trip. Y’all have made it such a good experience for me, I couldn’t have asked for a better senior trip. Thank y’all for everything y’all did to make sure I was having a fun and enjoyable trip. 
Thank you Olivia for all the hard work you put into making us delicious meals even with all my crazy dietary restrictions. Every meal tasted so good. I never put a meal in my mouth that tasted bad. 
Haley, thank you for cleaning up behind us 24/7. You kept this boat ship shape all week with not much help from us. Thank you for getting us snacks so we didn’t get hungry midday. Thanks for fixing awesome strawberry daiquiris and smoothies and coffees. They were some of the best drinks…I mean it. 
Keagan, thanks for mapping out a route that was fun and relaxing for everyone. Also, thanks for teaching me how to wakeboard. Maybe I’ll get it next time. I had fun even though I couldn’t get up! Thanks again Crew for an amazing experience. Best sailing trip yet! I’ll remember this trip forever!

This Week Was A Gift!!!!

Vacations can tend to have a little of variance - being away from home can make me anxious, so many things can go wrong - and who knows how these might be amplified on a boat out in the ocean. But this entire trip, I have felt like I was home. I was comfortable not just because of the care you show, or the attention to detail, but because of how immediately I trusted you all so completely and emphatically. 

It is rare to be able to release, to truly let go, and to know others have everything taken care of. This week was a gift that is well and truly invaluable, beyond a service. 

Keagan, Olivia, and Haley - you are kind and incredible and the joy of this trip was largely about spending it with you

You Were Amazing In Every Way

What can I possibly write to describe my experience except perfect. 
This trip has ruined every other vacation I could take. 

Olivia, Keagan, and Haley y’all were amazing in every way. I never felt a burden even though I never cooked, cleaned, or did anything beneficial for the boat. That speaks to your service and personalities. 

Some of my most fond memories of this trip will be playing games at night with y’all. If I ever can get myself here again I will certainly seek you guys out if possible.

This has been my favorite charter I’ve done so far! I will miss Huntress and the crew on it. 

Olivia, Keagan, and Haley, you three are the dynamic trio. You guys played games with us, made amazing food and smoothies, and picked amazing spots to stay for our trip! This was a vacation I could never forget and you three made it possible.

Keagan, you’re an amazing captain of the sea, and we loved the path you set forth for us and the stories you shared and all the conversations as we sailed. Olivia, your food is not only delicious but beautiful works of art that were picture worthy every time! Complimented of course with Haley’s creative and beautiful table settings. 
Last but surely not least is the ever “sunny” Haley. Always ready with a smile and a happy demeanor, making sure everyone is set with drinks, an organized space, or anything that would make everyone their happiest. You were a complete joy to have join us for whatever we were doing.

The most memorable family vacation!

From the moment we met Keagan and Olivia on the dock, we felt relaxed and welcomed. As our first charter, we weren’t entirely sure what to expect, and Olivia and Keagan immediately made us feel at ease. Their hospitality pervaded the entire week. By attending to each and every detail - from making sure we were comfortable, to helping with fabulous restaurant reservations and fun plans for each day, to knowing the best snorkeling spots – we could sit back, relax, and enjoy our family time. 

As the captain, Keagan kept us moving forward in a timely, yet relaxed, way. His competence, expertise, and mature demeanor created a safe, trusting environment. His judgment throughout the week was impeccable. We thoroughly enjoyed his music selection too! We also appreciated Keagan taking us to sundowners and morning walks, like when we went to the sugar mill. He is easy going and naturally enters into conversations, which added value to our time together. We also appreciated learning from Keagan. His historical knowledge of the islands and help with snorkeling were great additions to our trip.

Olivia’s positive energy and warmth made each day fun. She also added so much to our conversations. Olivia’s cooking was extraordinary; the meals were beyond our expectations and her presentations were beautiful. All the food was absolutely delicious and we asked for many of Olivia’s recipes. We couldn’t believe how much hard work went into cooking three meals a day for a family of five! And Olivia made it all seem effortless. Olivia also accompanied us on snorkeling expeditions, which made us feel safer. And the card game she taught us is our new family favorite. 

Most importantly, Keagan and Olivia were kind and patient with our family, particularly when our youngest son needed to go to the doctor due to a serious rash. Their amazing local network made our trip more memorable and special too. We highly recommend them to anyone hoping to charter a catamaran. We hope we have opportunities to travel with them in the future.

A Week has Never Flown By Faster

This trip has truly been one of a kind! At first I was a little nervous about spending and sharing time on a boat with 8 people but you two have made it one of the best experiences ever! Every morning felt like paradise - smelling the amazing food cooked by Olivia and the collection of laughter bellowing from the table. All of the amazing meals and the hilarious late night stories or games really tied everything together. A week has never flown by faster.
