Best Family Vacation Ever
My family and my brother's family were lucky enough to spend a week in December 2025 on the Nauti Nickel. The Yacht was beyond phenomenal. It was equipped with everything we could have needed but more important the staff couldn't have been any better. They were so warm, fun and accommodating. We went on snorkeling adventures, visited islands within the BVI, ate incredible meals, became pirates for a night and got to experience plenty of water time and downtime to recharge and laugh together. Not only did the Nauti Nickel have one tender to take us ashore but two including the Ronin which is a military style tender that brought us to shore many days in comfort that no other tender could have provided including indoor space and air conditioning. We will cherish this trip of a lifetime forever and dream of the delicious breakfasts, coffee and meals we enjoyed daily not to mention the pleasure of going home with clean laundry and a staff that made us feel like we were royalty!

Christmas 2025 - Once in a lifetime family Vacation
Our family of 10 spent one week in the BVI on the Nauti Nickel and had the most wonderful time. The boat is absolutely beautiful with ample space for all with our favorite spot being the flybridge with a full bar and jacuzzi. We had so much fun with all of the water toys and snorkeling opportunities. The Ronin tender boat made island excursions so easy. Cabins were beautiful with extremely comfortable beds and showers. The crew of the Nauti Nickel was fully committed to making sure that this was the once in a lifetime family vacation that we were hoping for. As captain, Michael was always available and presented us with a variety of potential plans for each day that met our interests. The meals were absolutely spectacular and Jen as chef took into account all of our dietary interests and restrictions. Some of our favorites included the brisket eggs benedict, lemon/blueberry pancakes, tuna poke bowl, homemade pasta, and lemon tiramisu. Rose prepared the most beautiful tables for each meal. Travis was always up for the next water toy request or island tour, and Kelani was game for navigating the Ronin to our next island spot. Each of them were consistently making sure that our coffee mugs were full in the morning and our cocktail glasses were full in the evenings.

5 out of 5 Stars. A memorable vacation all around. The Nauti Nickel is a beautiful, well equipped boat; from comfortable rooms, lounging areas and all the water activities we could want. The crew along with Captain Mike and Chef Jenn were over the top. Each crew member provided individual attention to all details during our journey. The meals provided by Chef Jenn were outstanding. We could not imagine a better time. The only downside, was we had to head home after 7 days. ~John

Nauti Nickel was a most wonderful experience for a family vacation. The boat has wonderful bedrooms with large bathrooms and nice large enclosed separate shower, with lots of water pressure. The deck space is amazing with both the front and the flybridge having wonderful tables and seats as well as a number of lounges that can accommodate all on each deck with room to spare. The flybridge also feature a jacuzzi with a sitting bar around it, a bbq, and a total bar for all services. The fly also has full seating pointing forward to provide wonderful viewing while underway,as the excellent captain is piloting the vessel. The main salon is well appointed and very large to meet all needs. The 2 tenders, 2 sea bobs, ski boards with electric control,numerous water floating toys and more provide all the water sport needs for all to use even at same time, something for everone! Captain Mike Lang and Chef Jennifer Lang are simply amazing, so friendly, happy, and do anything to make the vacation to be remembered as outstanding. Mike prepared an excellent itinerary and then accommodated any additional changes to make the route exceptional. Chef Jennifer, well we all gained weight as the food preparation was again outstanding, creative, extremely tasty, and beautifully served, each and every meal. They work wonderful as a team and their personalities help create a fun and professional experience at all times. They have extensive knowledge of the seas and all the islands and special places in both USVI and BVI. The crew we had were: Connie, Jake and Hannah, who all made us feel at home and comfortable. They were prepared to do whatever to make the trip exceptional and nothing was for the wanting, a wonderful team. The vessel is excellent for family or friends traveling together. I would definitely recommend highly the vessel and crew as exceptional. We have chartered over 25 times all thru Caribbean, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe and would rate Captain Mike and Jennifer as the best combo we ever experienced and are definitely going to return to the Nauti Nickel. Jennifer and Michael are a wonderful team that provide a world-class chef and an extremely capable and professional Captain. The boat is very well maintained and all systems were working during our trip. Catsy has a wonderful layout and the team makes all feel at home, increasing the enjoyment of the boat. Jennifer’s cooking is excellent at every meal, outstanding presentations, such creative dishes, and the quantity and quality provide more than enough for all to enjoy. Had an awesome time sailing all over BVI. Water toys were lots of fun. My favorite was dinghy flinging. Thomas loved the tub and bubble pools. Terri kept watch on the reach couch (cockpit). Austin loved day 2 when we got to use the subwing. All liked the sail to Anegada. Jenn’s cooking was great. Even the kids tried new things. Thanksgiving dinner was wonderful. Last but not least, Captain Mike kept us all entertained. P.S. There is only one way off the boat! Jumping from the top deck! Dear Michael and Jenn, We love you guys! The trip of a lifetime! We spent 10 days—just the 8 of us—and had a blast. The weather was fantastic (except for one memorable, stormy day). The excursions that Michael entertained us with, the awesome meals that Jenn prepared—every day, every 5 hours! :) The water toys, the Dinghy Slinging/Flinging :), the fishing, the sunset hike, the snorkeling! The Kodak moments—the helicopter ride—I know I’m missing something—the sailing lessons, the Baths and rock climbing was my favorite! Necker Island tour—the Lemurs and the Parrots (Hello!). I think we are all happily exhausted :) We could never thank you enough for your hospitality and family love. Were Michael and Jenn friendly, professional and accommodating? Yes, way beyond our expectations. They were both phenomenal. Michael went out of his way to be a full-time activities director for our family and personally provided hours and hours of fun (watersports and otherwise) for us and our kids. Jenn is literally crazy about cooking and spent multiple hours longer than we ever could have expected preparing meals for us. They were both dedicated to their roles in a way that I had trouble believing, and it's clear they truly love what they are doing. (And they have fun doing it!) They literally worked 18 hours a day (sometimes longer). I am so impressed with both of them that I hope to book our next charter with them again. Was CATSY comfortable and clean? Yes, in every way. It is a fantastic boat, and Michael and Jenn go out of their way to keep it that way. They definitely act as if the boat is an extension of themselves. How was the cuisine? Great. Jenn goes beyond a reasonable point with the amount of time she spends on preparing meals and the detail she applies to each one. How was the BVI? Absolutely fantastic and perfect for a charter like this one. We definitely plan to come back again to visit the places we didn't get to this time. Any additional comments on your charter? It was better than I could have expected. The boat and the crew were perfect for our family.

Where to start? This was our first trip to the BVI’s. In total, we had a group of 15, of which 13 were first timers. This was a tandem trip—two yachts working together to accommodate our group. The two veterans in our group gave us a few pointers as to what to look for in regard to yacht selection but didn’t offer a lot in the way of guidance when it comes to selecting a crew. Let me be the first to say, you need both and, wow, did we luck out on both! Let me start with the CATSY. She’s beautiful! Again, being our first trip, we don’t have a lot to go on but I can say without hesitation that we did not see a more beautiful yacht during our entire trip. She has a one-of-a-kind paint scheme and she’s beautifully appointed throughout. She has all of the water toys anyone could ask for and, with a bit of ingenuity, a unique toy our boys just loved (you’ll have to ask Mike about that one). The CATSY offers a spacious flybridge which is an absolute must-have if you’re scouting yachts. The flybridge allows you to sit up top shaded by the sun while enjoying the sail to your new destination. Down below, she has plenty of room to dine and lounge. The only negative thing I can say about her is the two forward cabins can be a challenge for a couple to find themselves comfortable overnight. I’m not saying you can’t fit four couples but it would be a bit “snug” for those in the forward cabins. The aft cabins are spacious, well-appointed and offer plenty of storage space. The salon offers top-of-the-line finishes and plenty of space. This yacht is perfect for two couples and can easily accommodate two couples with a couple kids. While we were a group of 8 (2 couples, 4 kids), it was a challenge for the kids in the forward cabins. The second part of the equation... CREW. Oh, where to begin with these two! Let’s start with their best character traits. First, Mike’s ability to handle any situation with a calm resolve and humble approach is truly remarkable. This is an attribute we all wish we had more of or surrounded ourselves with others that exhibited these traits more often. As for Jen, her infectious smile accompanied by her bubbly personality will make anyone feel right at home. From the moment we first met and boarded the CATSY, they put their best character traits in action. Jen welcomed us as though we were long-time friends and Mike graciously gave us the ground rules while making us feel as though there really were no rules... this was our kingdom for a week. Before I go any further describing just how great these two are, there’s something that should be understood. The CATSY is one of the larger yachts in the BVI fleet. This is a crew of two that manages everything from docking, anchor setting, sailing, cooking, cleaning, entertaining and on and on. Somehow they make it all look easy (99% of the time anyway). These two are in constant motion but will always stop to answer a question, ask you if there’s anything you need, or what you want to do for the day—and they do it all with a smile. I could go on for pages but no one will read that much so I’ll do my very best to scale this back. The food, oh my gosh the food! Initially, we filled out our itinerary stating that we intended to eat several meals on the islands. After the first meal we realized that this was a huge mistake and changed the itinerary. Jen is an amazing cook and I’m not sure those words do it justice. Just one example—scrambled eggs. We’ve all had them, right? How do you make scrambled eggs any better than the next person? Well, try Jen’s! Ribs... truly amazing. Every dish prepared was excellent—Jen pays attention to every detail and combines flavors to make the perfect gourmet meal. If you’re lucky enough to book these two, I would highly recommend Chef Jen over any meal we ate on one of the islands. While Jen is preparing amazing meals, cleaning cabins and assisting wherever needed, there’s “Mike the Butler.” Just kidding, but someone has to serve Jen’s cooking. Mike is an amazing captain and he got to know us well when it took all of 4 hours for one of our group to drop an iPhone to the bottom of the ocean. Without hesitation, Mike begins free diving and somehow finds the thing. This was just a precursor to Mike’s incredible ability to entertain. On a side note, we bookended the trip with another free dive for a missing fishing pole... which Mike also found. As stated above, we had a large group with lots of kids and, every day, Mike found a way to entertain not only the kids but the entire group. And, again as stated above, doing all of this with a calm resolve, humble approach and “can-do” attitude. While being an excellent captain on a 62’ yacht, more impressively, the guy can make some serious drinks! He created concoctions that we had never heard of and they were all amazing. I had the opportunity to spend a few nights out back engaged in casual conversation with Mike and Jen and I can tell you that they are passionate about what they do. They are true entertainers! If you want a true yacht experience with a five-star chef and a top-notch captain, look no further! A truly memorable experience! – Popelka & Barker Families

We truly looked forward to her each and every meal! Captain-ship: Michael knew everything about the waters and the yacht. Our sailing was superb in every way and we felt secure and safe! Yacht comfort was superb. Four bedrooms for the five of us: My husband and I, and our three adult sons shared accommodations. Ample bedrooms with showers and the yacht was in tip-top condition. Clean and so comfortable with our dining area a perfect setting outside. We enjoyed movies as well as the area inside being well suited for family time, games and conversation. The waters and islands in the BVI's and USVI's are incredible and so wonderful to enjoy. Summary: We would love to vacation again with Captain Michael and Jennifer Lang – Ad Astra – and we recommend it highly!

Shortest trip of my life, but jam-packed full of the greatest food ever! We had a great time on the boat! The chocolate molten cake was AMAZING and so was everything else! The major highlight was tubing. We got a nice taste of the Caribbean with eating raw coconut. I just wanted to take a few minutes to review our experience on our recent trip on "Crazy Horse". As I mentioned, the Catamaran was in good shape for the age and the crew was exceptional in every way. Michael and Jenn made our trip an extremely memorable one. We have been on a lot of great trips over the years, but all 4 kids said it was the best one we have ever done. Lisa and I agree!! Both Michael and Jenn were very accommodating, attentive and pleasant to be around for the entire week. They sort of became part of our family. Jenn's cooking was unbelievable; each meal was perfect and exactly what we wanted. It was a wonderful surprise to have that kind of cooking and food presentation each day and at every meal. Along with the food, both Jenn and Michael made sure we had any kind of drink we wanted, along with a few of their special drinks each night. As for Michael, he did a great job of moving us around the BVI's. We were able to stick with our itinerary and got to see a lot of great places we had not been to before. He also became a tour guide and family photographer throughout the trip. Our family really appreciated all the photos taken and given to us in a slideshow at the end of our trip. It was a nice touch. They both seem to love what the do and are very passionate about it. So, if I had to rate them, I would give both of them an A+ for how they took care of us and made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. When we decide to come back and sail again, we will definitely search for them and try to join them for another great memory. -George
