To Mike and Lizzy - one last toast as we sadly say goodbye for a second year in a row. What a perfect trip, all thanks to you two. From the sails to the snorkeling, the scenery, the turtles, the games, and of course THE FOOD: Lizzy outdid herself. One thing I have learned from these two trips is that the true joy and beauty of sailing is in the journey, and we couldn't ask for better guides. Until the next time. There are no words to describe our experience we had on the Sandy Cinco. Captain Mike and Chef Lizzy are such amazing souls and we connected immediately. The memories we made from sailing, snorkelling, eating gourmet meals and everything in between was nothing short of a blessing. The thoughtful details in every simple trip, meal, conversation were truly out of this world. This trip is a must for everyone! Thanks also to our hosts for this incredible experience. March 2024
Lizzy was/is warm, friendly and very hospitable. Her selection of meals and cooking were outstanding (we knew this from our last charter). She especially went out of her way with Brandon as he got interested in helping with the anchors and lines. She also was great at trying to satisfy the boys (Tyler – 7 and Brandon – 5) with food that they would eat. Tyler is very difficult and Lizzy always kept a smile on. Lizzy is a very pleasant person to be around and always trying to please. Mike is a confident, competent and professional captain – just what you want on a charter. His take charge personality was especially evident when my son-in-law got injured and Mike made sure he got the care he needed. Mike was always checking to be sure we were doing/going where we wanted to go. If a change was necessary, Mike would discuss and offer options as well as his opinion. As a former, many time bare boat charterer, having Mike take care of everything made the trip so much more enjoyable. I will admit that Mike can be a little grumpy in the morning before he has had his coffee but I suspect I am as well. Despite, sometimes being stern with the boys (when required), Mike was wonderful a couple of times getting Tyler out of a funk and getting him to enjoy himself (as stated earlier – Tyler can be a challenge). They both became part of the family but were never intrusive and made the trip most enjoyable.

BVI 2nd – 9th March 2024 “Such wonderful memories from this week”
Thank you for the most wonderful week of Spring Break. This was the third trip with Mike and Lizzy and the most memorable yet! The slide show at the Bills Bar ‘Tipsy’ on Anegada will live on forever! I’ll miss you desperately!! CC Easily one of my favourite birthdays ever ? My most memorable snorkel (aeroplane) and most memorable pirate show (oh boy!) I absolutely cannot wait to come back & I’ll be sure to bring a friend! AG Mike and Lizzy once again have outdone themselves! One of my favourite things was snorkelling through a cave. Not too far behind that is tubing and just chilling. Once again, Mike and Lizzy have made our trip awesome. AG It keeps getting better & better, but that seems impossible! Many thanks and hugs for a wonderful week in the BVI – this magical mystery tour was indeed magical!! Such wonderful memories from this week – the food, the fun, the sunsets, the snorkels. We’ve been here a number of times and we thought we knew everything. Thank you for the tremendous care you give to the boat and your guests. You both are the best. AS We came with no expectations, so everything has been a new experience for us. Whether snorkeling the amazing reefs, seeing fish so colourful and the turquoise blue water. The boat and accommodations are luxurious and first class. Always a place for relaxing or even playing games if it is inclement weather. Then there is the food - wow! Better than any five-star restaurant! BVI 23rd -29th June 2023 “The most magical few days.” The most magical few days. From snorkeling in calm, amazingly blue waters to climbing over rocks and through caves at The Baths, Mike and Lizzy are the best hosts. Lizzy’s food was beautifully presented and tasted even better. Mike stories and directions were spot on! Even the rain did not dampen our trip. Thanks for a lovely holiday! TS A once in a lifetime trip! Everything about the trip was amazing! The food was spectacular: every single meal was new and so delicious. I ate too much because I couldn't stop eating the food Lizzy prepared. Mike did a spot-on job of keeping us away from crowds, finding the best snorkeling spots and setting us up for stunning sunsets. I cannot recommend Mike and Lizzy and the Sandy Cinco enough. BVI New Year’s Eve Charter 28 December 2024 – 4 January 2025 “Thank you for another unforgettable voyage!” To Mike and Lizzy - one last toast as we sadly say goodbye for a second year in a row. What a perfect trip, all thanks to you two. From the sails to the snorkeling, the scenery, the turtles, the games, and of course THE FOOD: Lizzy outdid herself. One thing I have learned from these two trips is that the true joy and beauty of sailing is in the journey, and we couldn't ask for better guides. Until the next time. SB This was our second voyage with Mike and Lizzy, and it was even better than our first one, which doesn't seem possible because the first was perfect. Mike and Lizzy are impeccable hosts. They seem to know every inch of the BVI, and that knowledge translates to wonderful days, day after day, in new spots and familiar spots. Mike is a superb sailor and guide, as well as an excellent bartender. Lizzy is an absolutely amazing chef. There cannot be a better team in the Caribbean or for that matter anywhere else!
