We just returned from an incredible week aboard Breathe with Captain Jason and Sydney in the BVI, and I felt it was important to share just how exceptional these two are. We’ve been on many cruises with different crew, but Jason and Sydney stand far above the rest; they are simply second to none. Their professionalism, maturity, and attention to every detail were unmatched. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure everyone on board had an amazing time. Even with some unpredictable weather, they navigated perfectly and found the ideal balance between adventure, comfort, and relaxation. Every stop was incredible, and every day felt effortless under their care. Jason and Sydney represent the very best of what the industry offers, and they made this our most enjoyable charter yet. We’re already booked to return to the BVI and assume they will be our crew again. Thanks, Christian Jason & Sydney Wow. I am so very grateful that we met. There are vacations… and then there are experiences that completely change you as a person. What we experienced with Hazel and Yaya was not simply a charter, a getaway, or even a luxury trip. It was one of the most meaningful and unforgettable experiences of our lives, and I truly believe a piece of our hearts will always remain on that boat with them. From the moment we stepped onboard, Hazel had this incredible presence about him. Calm, confident, genuine, thoughtful—someone who instantly makes you feel safe, taken care of, and completely at ease. What amazed us most about Hazel was how effortlessly he made every single day feel perfectly tailored to us. He somehow knew exactly when we wanted adventure, when we wanted to relax, when we wanted to explore, when we wanted quiet moments together, and when we wanted to laugh until our stomachs hurt. Exploring the islands with Hazel leading the way felt like seeing the world through the eyes of someone who truly loves what he does. Every route, every stop, every experience felt intentional. He didn’t just captain a yacht—Hazel created memories that will stay with us forever. And then there is Yaya... I genuinely don’t know if words can do Yaya justice. I can say, without a single ounce of exaggeration, that Yaya prepared the best food I have ever had in my entire life. Not “best food on a boat.” Not “best vacation food.” The best food... period. Breakfast, lunch, dinner—every single meal somehow topped the last. We would finish a meal and think, there’s no way it gets better than this... and then somehow Yaya would do it again. But what made Yaya so special wasn’t just her talent in the kitchen—it was the love behind everything she created. You could feel it in every bite. Every plate felt thoughtful, personal, beautiful, and unforgettable. She completely changed how I think about food. She reminded me that food is not just something you eat—it’s something that brings people together, creates emotion, and tells a story. And Yaya told one of the most beautiful stories I’ve ever experienced. The yacht itself was absolutely incredible. There were five of us—my mother, my mother-in-law, my husband, my best friend, and myself—and somehow it felt like we had endless space. Everyone had room to relax, recharge, connect, and have their own moments while still sharing this unbelievable experience together. But if I’m being honest... the yacht, the islands, the views, the luxury—all of that was only part of what made this so extraordinary. The real magic was Hazel and Yaya. Somewhere during this trip, they stopped feeling like crew and started feeling like family. Saying goodbye to Hazel and Yaya at the end was genuinely emotional. There were tears. There were hugs. And there was this overwhelming feeling that something incredibly special had just happened to all of us. There is truly no dollar amount in this world that can buy the kind of memories, connection, growth, and perspective that Hazel and Yaya gave our family. This wasn’t just a vacation. This was life changing. This trip changed how I see the world. It changed how I value time with the people I love. It changed how I think about food, adventure, and being present in the moment. And the hardest part of all... was leaving Hazel and Yaya. We are all heartbroken that it’s over, but one thing is certain... We will be back for Hazel and Yaya. And until then, we’ll be talking about this experience for the rest of our lives.

Hazel & Yah Yah, Words cannot describe what an amazing trip this was on the ScubaDoo with the both of you. Every day was special because of you. We will always cherish Anegada. Thank you for joining our family and putting such love and thoughtfulness into every meal, drink, place setting, love — and most of all that natural loving energy that comes from you both. We know we are an “interesting bunch”. Thanks for accepting that and going with it. Especially Michael — he will miss the bed ferries, food, sails, beautiful views. Hazel and YaYa were fantastic. Hazel's skippering ability, combined with the boats equipment, let us do more things than I have done previously. He also accompanied us on land tours (the Baths) and gave us a personal tour. YaYa is a great chef/host. Her cooking is amazing – the best I've ever had on a charter like this. Her passion and talent for cooking really came through. Hazel and YaYa were equally good making drinks. They have a lot of energy and really interacted with my family. Absolutely incredible experience aboard Scuba Doo, the Lagoon 50 catamaran in the British Virgin Islands! From the moment we stepped on board, Hazel and Ya Ya made us feel like we were on top of the world. Their hospitality was unmatched, and they truly went above and beyond to make sure our trip was perfect. Ya Ya’s cooking was out of this world – every meal was a culinary masterpiece, and I was blown away by the variety and freshness of the dishes. The activities were incredible as well! Scuba diving in the crystal-clear waters was an absolute highlight – I got to explore vibrant coral reefs and swim alongside octopus, sea turtles and exotic fish. Snorkeling was equally amazing, with abundant marine life just waiting to be discovered. For the more adventurous, wakeboarding in the calm, turquoise lagoons was so much fun – and the crew made sure everyone was safe and had a blast. I got up on my first try after Hazel’s great lesson. The whole trip was a dream come true. If you’re looking for an unforgettable vacation in paradise with a crew that feels like family, I can’t recommend this experience enough. It’s 5 stars all the way!

I just spent an amazing week aboard Scuba Doo 50 in the BVI! We did a lot of fabulous diving, snorkeling, excursions, wakeboarding and other water activities but what really made the experience special was the hospitality and the food by the crew. Somehow, in between preparing restaurant quality meals, snacks and excellent drinks with love and care, leading water excursions, cleaning up after us and keeping the boat and all the water toys well maintained, the crew, Chef Yah Yah and Captain Hazel, also managed to make us feel like family. The environment they created, their ability to always make sure we were comfortable and having the best time and the knowledge they have of the BVI, marine life and the boat absolutely enhanced the whole experience! I highly recommend a trip on Scuba Doo 50!!

We have been to the BVI twice prior and chartered a similar boat. Our experience on Scuba Doo was first class and exceeded our expectations. The crew, Ya Ya and Hazel were phenomenal. They went out of their way every day to accommodate our requests and make an amazing experience for our kids. From tubing, diving, E-foiling, snorkeling and beach excursions every day was unique and memorable. Scuba Doo is very spacious and well laid out. We spent most of our down time relaxing up front or up top. The boat has everything you need and high end appointments. The Wifi worked excellent the entire trip and was easy to check work emails if needed. The food and attention to detail was fabulous. Hands down the best cuisine we have experienced on a BVI charter. Our kids who can be picky loved every meal and wished their mother could cook like Ya Ya. We were sad to leave but will always remember this trip and look forward to returning on a boat crewed by Hazel and Ya Ya. - The Florie Family

Talk about living the dream! A few weeks ago, I had the absolute pleasure of spending a week aboard Scuba Doo 50. Since I had never chartered a boat before, I had no idea what to expect. But let me tell you – this experience exceeded every expectation! The crew, Yah Yah and Hazel, made the week beyond special. They were warm, welcoming, accommodating, and incredibly service-oriented. Yah Yah’s cooking? Absolute perfection! Every meal was delicious and tailored to our tastes. Hazel’s captain skills? Smooth sailing! He handled everything with confidence and ease, making us feel completely at home. The yacht itself? Stunning, spotless, and packed with every luxury imaginable. You won’t find a better crew or a more incredible experience. All I can say is, don’t just dream about it, go do it!

A very special experience for a multitude of different reasons. The freedom to explore all of the BVIs, making it feel like an inclusive experience complete with your own Michelin star worthy chef YahYah. This trip would have been wildly different without them leading the way. Truly- a once in a lifetime experience that is totally worth it. Very, very sad for this trip to come to a close.

I just spent a week with Yah Yah and Hazel aboard Scuba Doo I have to say they make work look like fun and made our charter feel like we are their friends . Each meal was delicious and presented like being in a fancy fancy restaurant. I have more pictures of my meals than I should but needed to have them. We were celebrating my husband's retirement and my youngest son’s 25th Birthday and could not have picked a better location and boat! Thank you for an incredible experience aboard the Scuba Doo Yacht Charter! From the moment we set sail, Kris & Aneta’s warmth and hospitality created a welcoming atmosphere that made our USVI trip unforgettable. They went above and beyond in all aspects of the trip, from recommending the best snorkelling & dive spots to finding the perfect mooring ball in the cove for us to spend the night. The attention to detail and care they put into everything they do was greatly appreciated! Aneta prepared delicious and beautifully plated meals & desserts for us each day - accompanied by the ocean breeze, you can’t beat it! Also, a must do on Scuba Doo was setting up the floating dock to enjoy the sunsets while sipping on some of Kris's signature Painkiller cocktails! And finally, I had the opportunity to complete my Open Water Dive certification course with Kris. He was an amazing instructor, ensuring I felt safe and showed us some of USVI’s best dive sites. We saw a ship wreck, lots of fish, turtles, stingrays, and a nurse shark! Kris and Aneta were the most welcoming crew and they had pampered us with delicious food, drinks, and activities. We had always woken up to the fragrant smell of breakfast. You could expect freshly baked waffles or cinnamon buns on the table waiting for you. Kris took us around different parts of the islands and we had the opportunity to see all sorts of sea life as well as landscapes. As a Jack of all trades, he could be a Captain, a chef, and a fisherman. He caught a black fin tuna on our trip and fed us the best grilled tuna steak for dinner. He also made sure we had a worry-free trip as he worked tirelessly around the boat to ensure all parts of the boat are well maintained. It's been a week since our BVI catamaran vacation aboard the Scuba Doo. The vacation high is over, and I finally have time to relay our thoughts. As soon as we three couples boarded Scuba Doo, we knew it was going to be an epic week. Several of us had previously been on a catamaran in the BVI two other times through other companies. We knew what to expect, and what we preferred to do...or so we thought. Kris and Aneta - WOW - you two were beyond amazing! Your attention to detail, sharing of stories and finding new places for us to explore exceeded our expectations. We had just enough activities and relaxation times to please the entire group. Snorkeling and floating at the Caves and Indians and also at two coves new to us was perfect. The two divers of the group were able to get their fill of diving without interfering with the rest of the group plans. "Bubbles Up!" Kris was also patient and attentive when one of us went on a discovery dive for the first time. Aneta and Kris also know their way around the kitchen! We did not go hungry and thoroughly enjoyed all the meals, and treats in the 'Dome of Yum'. Our highlights are The Baths, Conch Island Tour in Anegada and Saba Rock. Kris and Aneta were troopers for our White Party wine tasting dinner and Scuby Doo night. Oh the laughs! Thank you for a truly magical week! -Vicki What an amazing week!! Kris & Aneta, Another day in paradise! This was an incredible week and time went by way too quickly. I easily got used to the morning swim, endless snorkeling, and the most amazing food. The diving was rich with beautiful coral, fish, lobsters, turtles, and rays. We loved the peaceful sailing, made even more fantastic by the playful dolphin that visited us. The captains’ cocktails were a treat – from painkillers to espresso martinis. You are both amazing at what you do! Love, The Prevost Family Best Family Trip – I cannot say enough about our excellent experience with Michelle Heyns of Epic Yacht Charters and our crew on the Scuba Doo, Perhaps the best all-around family trip we’ve taken! Booking the charter with Michelle was easy and seamless. She is knowlegable, available and held our hands through every step of the process. Highly recommend! Our family of five (my wife and I and three daughters, ages 15, 12, and 8) chartered Scuba Doo, a 50-foot catamaran, for a week in early March for our spring break. It was PERFECT. The captain Kris and the first mate/chef Aneta were all we could have hoped for. Kris is a top-notch captain and had everything under control on the boat at all times. He’s a skilled sailor and walked us through the plan for each day. He was very helpful with our daughters and skillfully guided them on/off the dinghy when we went ashore. Kris also made some great “captain cocktail” specials for happy hour for the whole family. Really was the ideal captain. Aneta is so thoughtful and somehow turns out gourmet fine-dining quality meals from that tiny little kitchen. Three wonderful meals each day, with great variety. Honestly, the meals were so good there was no reason to have lunch or dinner ashore. My wife and I are sort of “foodies” and we were highly impressed throughout the week. We did a mix of USVI and BVI, which was perfect. Something to do each day – or nothing to do if you prefer! Island adventures, snorkeling, beach days or just cruising. Overall, our week on Scuba Doo with Kris and Aneta was probably the best family trip we’ve had. We very much hope we’ll be able to book with them again! -Ben & Britt

I booked Scuba Doo with Captain Kris and Chef Aneta for my girlfriend and me to get some scuba diving in and to show my girlfriend the BVI.  Kris and Chef were amazing and by the time the trip was over, I believe that I can count them as friends.  The food Aneta made was delicious and Kris was a great dive master/instructor as well as a superb bartender.  Kris and Aneta even went above and beyond to fulfill a special beach bonfire evening that I requested.  You and I both know that the success of a charter is greatly dependent upon the crew of the charter, and I can say this trip was extremely successful!! Everyone has written about Aneta’s meals and Kris’s Activities and while all that applies, the richness of spending 7 nights 8 days with them was priceless and beyond delightful! Captain Kris and Anetta were fantastic on all aspects. The boat was amazing - super-comfortable and we’ll-equipped. I loved the layout of the salon, with the u-shaped sofa and middle console. We had all meals out on the deck - never really used the salon but I liked the open floor plan that made it seem more spacious. All of our rooms were comfortable with good mattresses and nice, efficient bathrooms. The food was delicious - and it wasn’t easy with our dietary preferences and restrictions. All meals were delicious and well-presented. Anetta did a great job making Maddie’s meals replicate ours but vegan. And she even baked a chocolate birthday cake for Lauren (along with presenting her with an bottle of champagne and a map of the BVI with our journey charted on it). So thoughtful. Kris and Anetta joined us for dinner at Saba Rock one evening and it was much fun. We snorkeled a ton - saw some sea turtles, sting rays, lots of amazing fish, including a few barracuda, awesome coral. Kris helped a fisherman rescue an Eagle ray from his net that Jay and Maddie found while kayaking - a happy ending to a potential for a bad outcome. We hit great beaches and some of our top must-sees - Norman Island, Willy T’s (where Jay became somewhat famous for doing about 8 backflips from the top deck - people we saw at other islands said “Hey, you’re the backflip dude!”) the Baths, Cooper Island, the bubbly pools, the North Sound, and Caneel Bay. It was an amazing week and something we will all remember for a very long time. Thank you for everything you did to make it happen and make it amazing.

Kris & Aneta, We had an amazing charter with you through the BVI! This trip was our familys first trip together in 7 years! We really enjoyed the entire trip but daily highlights include: St. John – snorkeling with the turtles! Jay becoming famous at Willy T’s for his backflips, (#backflipboy #willytsbackflipboy). Kris rescuing an eagle ray from the fisherman’s net – good karma for that! Thank you again for orchestrating such a beautiful birthday celebration for Lauren (24!). Aneta is an amazing chef – every meal was a standout! We especially loved the Jerk Caribbean Chicken, Sesame Tuna, and Snapper! Eggs Benedict, Taco Tuesday and the banana pancakes were also a hit. Kris & Aneta, Each day was an Adventure – a balm for the soul and an exercise in practicing daily gratitude. You guys make an incredible team! Not only were we well taken care of but we were fed like kings. We are forever changed by this trip. Cammi and Charlie, First of all, "Thank you" will never be able to describe how grateful our entire group is for this pas week. With that being said... THANK YOU!! Cammi, Your work ethic and desire to make everything perfect is incredible. Every meal was incredible-delicious, beautiful, filling, awesome! The running joke is that we were never hungry on this trip. We probably ate less this week than we normally do and that was because every meal was perfect. You were also patient, flexible, and understanding with us. Thank you!! Charlie, You are the man! You taught us more about boats, sailing, snorkeling, diving, and reef/sea creatures than we could ever learn in a lifetime. We also asked more questions than we could in a lifetime and you answered every one. New Years 2021 Charter USVI
Charlie and Cammi, What a fantastic week! Thank you for everything. We sailed around Saint John and a couple of coves on Saint Thomas. We started the week pretty timid about the water and ended with lots of growth. Ava and Ian went snorkeling at every stop seeing a nurse shark, reef shark, sting rays, a squid, and lots of fish. The nights where the underwater lights were allowed lit up large tarpin and smaller fish. Megans Bay and Christmas Cove were our favorites. Megans because of the beautiful yachts and night lights and Christmas Cove for the snorkeling and pizza boat. Charlie's knowledge of all things sailing and Cammi's amazing cooking were definite highlights making for a fun, relaxing vacation. SPRINK BREAK!! The Scuba Doo and its crew Captain Charlie and trust mate and excellent chef Cammi, made for a top notch vacation! We circumnavigated St John ~ Hiking, snorkeling, swimming, kayaking, reading, snoozing, paddle boarding and drinking and eating while we were spoiled by Cammie and Charlie. Highlights included snorkeling with turtles, swam with a nurse shark, hiking to the sugar mills and to the top of the mountain overlooking Caneel Bay....and the grand finale of a day on the beach at Caneel. Our family and our friends spent much needed quality time together, which is truly the best gift of all. We hope to return again aboard the Scuba Doo! July 2020 USVI Charter
We had a wonderful week - you two are our all time favorite hosts after 14 charters! Cathy & Jim Loved all of the activities Cammi and Charlie joined us for. Jungle hill climb, Jurassic park, great dives. Snorkeling was amazing and so much fun to have you two with us to point out all of the highlights. Loved all of the sailing and learning while doing it. Also, thank you for giving extra attention to Evie. 12 year olds can sometimes be left out, but you gave her many fun challenges and I know she felt privileged to have both of you treat her as a friend. Lots of new memories that I know we will all remember well for the rest of our lives. You two make a great crew. Thank you for everything. All of the food was AMAZING! Especially the pastry dishes. The crew was professional and courteous and always there to help. ___ I love the big yellow duck :) The shrimp and the salmon were me fave! - but truly all of the food was great. Must see list - the baths and soggy dollar. Thanks for an amazing experience. ___ Cammie and Charlie were excellent hosts! They never sit down in tending to their guests, I don't see how they do it. Food was amazing!

Dear Cammi and Charlie, Thank you so much for everything! This is our third charter and the best. The boat was perfect, the weather was perfect, the food was unbelievable and we loved your choices of locations. Charlie and Cammi - you are a wonderful team we always felt safe, interested, relaxed and happy. After a bad year of operations, illness and pain I feel, finally, fully recovered thanks to both of you. Your thoughtfulness, kindness and help will always be remembered. Thanks also to the owner and charter comply for allowing us to delay the trip for a year. You are both great people and a fantastic crew. Can't wait for our next trip with you! Ruth Cammi and Charlie, This was such a wonderful week - you guys are amazing - we explored so many (new) beautiful areas - Cammi made us such delicious meals - you both created such comfortable, clean environment for us to relax and enjoy our surroundings. All four of us are so so appreciative that the charter company and the boat owner were so flexible about changing the date because of illness. We realize that this was a choice, and we are eternally grateful. We particular loved the diving from the boat, and Charlie is a great dive master and made diving so easy. He also sensitively helped one of us who was recovering from surgery get back in the swim of things, and made sure she was comfortably part of all activities. Cammi is an amazing cook, serving healthy and delicious food at every meal. We need that curried chicken recipe! Cammi and Charlie are the perfect hosts for this kind of trip - expert sailors, so we always felt in good hands, so accommodating to our wishes each day, funny, kind and delightful. We just can’t say enough about what a great trip this was due to Cammi and Charlie. They define excellence in charter service. Ruth

You all have been "over the top" hosts, thinking of everything and exceeding our expectations. The sailing, snorkel tours, and the meals - truly exceptional! December 2019 USVI Charter
This was the perfect vacation. When we booked, we just randomly selected Great Adventure, how lucky were we??? Charlie and Cammi were the best crew we could have asked for!! They treated us like royalty. We felt so lucky each day. Diving with Charlie was exciting, but at the same time so peaceful. He has a calming way about him and we felt safe with him. Each site he took us to was different, but equally beautiful. The food, well what can I say, Cammi was a great cook. Each meal was beautifully presented and delicious. She also finished them off with a yummy dessert. I'm still wondering how she did it all on our boat. I wish I could let you know which one was better than the other but all the food was wonderful! Both Cammi and Charlie were so knowledgeable about, our surroundings and environments, sailing, diving, they were so informative. Cammi and Charlie we really can't thank you enough. You are so kind and well caring. We will definitely do this again because of your wonderful hospitality. If you move to a bigger boat we will follow! We will have to visit you in Newport!
